Hooter Hider and Car Seat Cover

I made a hooter hider for my sister-in-law with the same fabric I am making the girlie car seat cover. JoAnnes carries this fabric. Anyways just let me know:)
I love my Hooter Hider, now I can't live without it! Now nursing in public is so much easier!! No more blankets falling off of my shoulder....now I can nurse in style:)

Here's the car seat cover, and I love, love this! It is so great for your newborn, keeps all of the germs out! My little guy is 9 months and it still works great for when he falls asleep in the van, just cover him up and it keeps the light out and him alseep. And it looks dang cute, dresses up my drab car seat:)

You can look at JoAnnes website and there is also another website I like, fabric.com. Just let me know:)

Okay I'm totally loving these Stace! A quick question for you - is there boning around the neck of the nursing cover? I couldn't quite tell in the pictures. I bought one when I had Noah that had the boning around the neck and I loved that feature of being able to see him without having to use my hands to lift the fabric. Unfortunately I hate the colors of mine so it's hidden in the back of a drawer somewhere. Is the boning something you would be able to add for me? I'm totally excited about these! I have been trying to get on to Joanns website but its temporarily down, I will try the other one today and let you know as soon as I have some fabric samples that I love!

OKay - I have another question for you. I have been on the websites, but I dont really know what section or category to look under. I have zero experience with anything homemade or fabric to make things of any kind. seriously. So point me in the right direction and I shall do my best to pick something out :)

Hey...so for the Joannes website just look under quilting fabrics and kits. For the Fabric.com, also look under quilting fabrics, you can also search by designer, I like Amy Butler. Anyways hope that helps.

Oh Stacey! I was totally looking up stores in your area that sold Amy Butler fabric because I LOVE IT :) So happy we're on the same page with that. I know they're going to be fabulous. I was thinking of getting two hooter hiders and 1 car seat cover. Is that too much for you?? Please please PLEASE let me know if it is! I know its close to Christmas and you have three kids and a husband and a house to take care of. It's crazy hard as it is, so please!... No pressure! You let me know how much you think you can take on. I dont want to be a pest!

Totally cute Stacy! Do you have a pattern for the car seat cover? I did one but I just winged a pattern. Anywho, if you have a pattern I'd love to make a copy.

Alright - more questions for you! I have found one, maybe two patterns from Amy Butler on the Fabric.com website but I cant seem to find any Amy butler designs from JoAnns. Is there any? Am I just wasting my time looking there? Also, I really wanted to keep things really pink and girlie. I know that's not the smartest choice since there is a good chance that I may be having another boy one day, but oh well. I'll order boy colored ones from you when that day arrives :) SO Amber was telling me that you are making a girly car seat cover. Would you mind posting the picture of the fabric, because if it is anything like the boy one, I'm in love and just might get you to use the same fabric. Am I making sense? It's late and I didn't get my nap today. hahahaha Thanks Stacy!

OKAY,

I have finally come to a decision. Which is really good for me since I am usually extremely indecisive :)

The fabrics for the Hooter Hiders are:
1.BS-978 Amy Butler Midwest Mordern 2 Fresh Poppies Ivory

2.CK-596 Moda Hushabye Owl Stripe Pink

And for the carseat cover:
1. BN-358 Amy Butler Daisy Chain Deco Rose Brown.

Hope that works out! Thanks again Stacy - I am SO excited to see them :)
