I was lucky enough to have family in town for my Birthday!!! Mom Nehring made this delicous cake....Red Velvet. My sisters made an awesome breakfast with my favorite, cinnamon buns with fruit and yogurt. Thanks everyone for making it so special!

We went to Deep Run for a BBQ and playing, what fun!!!

Denta Schooll Gala

The Gala was held at the Marriot hotel. We had a nice dinner and then dancing afterwards. No dancing for me....yes I am feeling very prego!!! We did manage a slow dance though.
Some choice people at our table!

AD and his date

Virginia Beach with the cousins

My parents and two sisters came out for Josh's graduation, a week early. So we went to Virginia Beach for the week!! My parents had a nice time share across the street from the beach. We walked to the beach and when it got rainy or cold we swam inside. The kids couldn't get enough of the water!
I have always wanted to ride one of these bikes, so we rented two and had a blast. Of course there were races and lost flip flops and strained muscles. Those things are harder to pedal than you think.
Here are the studs of the beach.....wow we've got some lucky women in our family:)
Uncle Brad was a sport and let the kids bury him.
Love you too babe!!!

Fall

Izzy's Preschool Class did a little presentation of songs for Thanksgiving.
Lilli's Thanksgiving Feast. I went and helped out in her classroom. It was alot of fun, we made centerpeices out of mini pumpkins and put flowers in them. The kids all made their own shirts, head dresses, and drums!
Cutest 50's girl you ever saw? I think so!!!:) Dressed up for school's 50's day!
Sorry for the funny sideways picture! Lilli showing some serious skills on the balance beam!

Lilli's 1st Day of School

Lilli's First day of School was very exciting, for her and for her parents! I don't know who was more nervous, us or her...probably us:) When she left with Josh I got a little teary eyed, I just can't believe my little Lilli is so big! It is a good thing to for these little ones to grow up, even though I wish I could somehow stop them from growing up. It is exciting because it means she gets to experience the many wonderful things the world has to offer. I just hope Josh and I can teach her all she needs to know to be strong and to always choose the right. I guess we just need to keep trying everyday:)
I made her a giant cookie for her first day of school!
Coming off the bus, we are so proud:):)
A proud Gayton Gator! Of course her little sister/best friend had to get in on the action to:)
Her teacher Mrs. McDonald, whom she loves! I am so grateful that she has such an awesome teacher to spend her days with!
