They had a sky diver jump into the race way, very cool! I guess this guy has set the world record for most jumps in an hour, I can't remember exactly how many times, but some crazy number like 600...CRAZY!!!
Thanks to Debra and Bryson for the awesome time! It was so loud you couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you, you had to yell. We wore ear plugs, but it was still soooo loud. You could feel the engines, it was sooo cool!! We loved it!
The race way and the gourgeous sunset, you never see sunsets in Virginia, there are too many trees you can't really "see" anything. So this was a real treat to behold:)
As you can see here the cars are zipping by, something like 200 miles an hour. Josh and I walked down near the race way and I could feel little pieces of something hitting me. I soon realized that it was pieces of tire. The cars were going so fast their tires were falling apart...I guess that's why they have pit stops right:)

That's so cool! We drove by that place so many times...since my in-laws live in Mechanicsville but we never went.
Did you know in the Pixar movie Cars that they put those little tire pieces in the movie as small detail points? Yeah...we watch that movie a lot at our house! I thought that was cool...and you felt that stuff. Nice.
